Julia is our server and we had no waiting time to be seated. The restaurant could use some updating. The carpet is old and needs a good cleaning. The cafe curtains are outdated. However, I’m here for the food and I had the seafood soup and some dumplings for an appetizer. Simply delicious! And more than enough food for you to eat in one sitting. I had the twice cooked pork w/fried rice and my husband had triple do you like with fried rice. overall the service was outstanding and the food was fresh and very good. I’m glad I came when I did because the crowd followed us in. I recommend this restaurant.

The food here is legitimately great. As a tough food critic, I happily give this restaurant 5 stars for the value. We stopped here for a quick bite on the road. We ordered take out but decided to eat at the restaurant. The lady at the front was so nice and let us eat at the restaurant. Since I ordered to-go, I only left 10% tip. After eating there, I asked for my receipt so I could tip more and she would not let me. She told me to just come back instead because we are young and also have to work for our money. It was the nicest and most genuine interaction I’ve had in a long time and I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. You have to try this place at least once.

One of the best casual, Chinese-American restaurants I’ve been to in the greater Nashville area. The portions are generous. The staff is super friendly. The food is made fresh, fast, and is very flavorful. The establishment itself is clean and well-maintained. If we are back in the Madison area, we will definitely come back to China Cottage.

Food was amazing! I got the seafood sizzler and the lobster was amazing. This is not a cheap chinese buffet. Its an actual dine in experience and the service was fabulous! Kid friendly and the bathrooms were clean !

This Is a new China Cottage location where LaChine was. Food was good, my favorite was the crab Rangoon. They were stuffed, sweet and creamy with the lightest crunch! Yum. I like that they serve hot and sour soup as your premeal instead of a miso or broth. The shrimp sweet and sour was great. The only problem I had- and it may just be me…I can’t find good fried rice anywhere…But! So glad to have good Chinese close again!!!

Absolutely the best Chinese food place in Middle Tennessee. It is worth the one hour drive that I make when I can spare the time. The atmosphere is good. It is not a bad place to take a date for lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable and the food is great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is so far the best Chinese food I have had in Nashville and reasonably priced. Best hot and sour soup. If comparing to east coast Chinese take out, very similar. Food is amazing and highly recommend this place!
